What is Advanced Clinical Practitioner Training?

Within this training a member of academy will have their focus on improving your roleplay ability ensuring that you are more and more confident to treat more challenging issues that walk into the hospital. This training can be completed for anyone who is ranked Doctor+. When you are ACP trained your day to day job will include treating or diagnosing more challenging issues and being able to quickly and professionally resolve these to give our patients the best care possible. You will be working closely will Nurses and Senior Doctors and referring them to the correct rank based on their injuries or illnesses.

You will also be expected to show your improvement on your roleplaying skills within this training with an independent stage where a member of academy will be the patient and you have to correctly diagnose and treat the patient accordingly to ensure that your are confident doing this on a real patient in a possibly life threatening situation. Moreover, you will also be shown how to more familiarise yourself with the prescription list used by anyone within the health service to a higher level which will be shown below.
