Independent Prescriber Training

What is IP Training?
IP training will be available for anyone ranked Nurse+, this is the first training you can recieve within the health service, within this training you will be taught how to give patients morphine correctly, how to use the PNC system to log issues, create appointment slots and also writing up medical notes on patients so that other Health Service professionals are able to see these and look back on a patients record.

Within this training you will be given some basic Role Play training and what to do in certain situations, for example you will be taught how to deal with the most common types of illnesses, injuries and other issues that a patient may have. This is to ensure your confidence when treating a patient allowing us to give them the best treatment possible.
